This is a Kenosha institution for sure. I love the bomber buns and Italian bread. The people that work here are very nice. I'm so glad to have this place.

The BEST Italian bread ever! So glad it was bought after the Cardinali family retired and sold it. New owner purchased building and recipes. Smart man!

Though I was born and raised in Kenosha, I have lived in San Francisco for 30 years. San Francisco is a foodie town, where we have gourmet doughnuts such as maple-bacon, passion fruit-milk chocolate, lavender-blueberry, lemon-thyme, and more. I'm here to say that Cardinali's has the best doughnuts in the world. The cyclops are unparalleled. Doughy and light as clouds, the chocolate rich and full of flavor, the white dollop of cream caresses your tongue. Never miss a chance to get cyclops from Cardinali's.

Amazing local bakery that thankfully is still supported and loved. The best local substitute for old school New Orleans french bread. Delicious sweet treats. Grab Cardinalis for ALL your bread ... loaf, buns, all of it! You'll not be disappointed.

My aunt Lena Cardinali and her husband ran this Bakery around the 1920s. My dad worked here in the 40's before shipping out in the Navy in World War II. I and my brother worked there in the early eighties for a while after my dad's Bakery in Racine closed, which I worked in from age 9 - 17. Thank you for keeping it running. I know how hard the work is.

been going here since the 60's, they even let us fold our papers that we delivered inside. I still live close, and they still have the best Italian bread I have ever tasted. Long Johns are overloaded with custard, but that isn't necessarily bad. Day old buns are a bargain if you have a cookout and toast them.

Stopped in to get Bomber buns and a round loaf of Italian bread. Their breads are the best, the nice young lady behind the counter was super helpful.

The best bread in Kenosha. Paiellis is decent (not as good as it was when I was a kid) but not as good as Cardinali's in my opinion. Growing up in Kenosha, we bought this bread from the time I was born to the time I left for college. I'm sure my grandparents also grew up eating this bread. Some of the best in the world in my opinion. I've been in Missouri for 20+ years now and miss this bread (and Carls pizza) very much. I usually buy 20 loaves and freeze them when I come back home.
